Shirley Frey
In 1995, Shirley went through a very difficult time in her life which affected her physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Fear was a dominant factor in her life which contributed to her distress. Through a supernatural intervention and a deep searching of the Scriptures, deliverance and healing was experienced. God came alongside of Shirley and encouraged her restoring her with hope, power, and renewal of purpose, placement, and vision.
As a result of Shirley’s near death experience and God’s total healing and restoration, the Holy Spirit birthed Two are Stronger that One Ministries in January of 1997. God called Two Are Stronger Than One to be a ministry of encouragement and a message of restoration to those in difficult life situations. The ministry is based on the Scripture taken from Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 where we are told the importance of encouraging one another.
Shirley has dedicated her life to serving the Lord with a background in teaching the Word, writing, speaking and ministering through her gift of music. The desire of her heart is for God’s people to learn how to “come alongside” one another, to understand the power of our words, to live in love and unity, and to know their greatest Encourager, the Holy Spirit.
Shirley lives on a small ranch in Flatonia, Texas with her husband Dan where Two Are Stronger Than One Ministries, Inc. is headquartered. They have a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Stephanie residing in Houston, Texas. The family, ranch and ministry are dedicated to the honor, praise and glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
