“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him, fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.” Psalm 37:4
At the greatest level of expectancy faith will produce the evidence of its greatest work!
God will avenge His children. We can be encouraged in the fact that God will do what He has spoken. He never disappoints. He fulfills His promises. He is faithful in all He does.
Our part in the equation of seeing God work on our behalf is to rest in Him, wait patiently for Him, and not allow fear to dictate our thinking because of what we are seeing or hearing. Evil will always present itself as if it is taking center stage. But as we wait in confidence God will avenge our enemies. He will put an end to evil. His Word consistently promises His intervention. Let us rest and wait in expectation!
ENCOURAGEMENT: It is for us to pray and rest in God knowing He is working behind the scenes of life. God is in control, that is why we need to come to Him and ask Him to remove the evil within our nation and world.
“For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.” Psalm 37:9
